Starting at the new beginning

The target for the next 600 days is that we will establish a new standard for Customer Service, and be able to donate in excess of $1m per month to good causes before the end of that period. This detail is not fully thought through – like every journey worth making we cannot know all of the details before we start, only that it is worth doing.

600 days is a challenge. And it is a marathon, not a sprint. We will get there by becoming better every day. It is a journey that we are going on ourselves, and our customers with us.

Every one of our customers cares abut customer service, internal efficiency and doing things better. We owe it to them to be better, our success is due to our customers and for our customers.

a long road

What is this about?

We are about to release a new type of Customer Service Platform that REALLY delivers better Customer Service. We want YOU to get involved.

Our plan is that we will deliver better quality Customer Service using our Customer Service Portal (where organizations create Customer Service sites). These sites deliver better customer service for reasons we will blog about daily.

Along the way we will generate funds for good causes, have fun, and maybe release our Innovation Platform.

Who is doing this?

Brett Husbands is the first blogger on this site, I don’t like referring to myself in the third person. Everybody can self-create an account and join in. Everybody in the company will be able to blog on this public facing site. People external to the company (except spammers and other nasty people)  will be able to comment, and with enough kudos be given the ability to guest post – customers already have enough kudos, just sign-up for an account.

Why should you care?

You needn’t – we hope that our new contributions on customer service are worthwhile and that that is useful to you. This site is for people involved in the solution, in improving customer service, and with the company.

I hope to get some marketing, customer service and social media experts involved along the way, as anything that helps make the platform better helps make greater profits that contribute to good causes.
